Building on the
foundation of Lite,
IntelliBid Plus is priced to include more of the
advanced takeoff tools found in the Smart Systemô
technology feature group available only with ConEst software products. With features like Smart Substitution using built-in NEC tables and Count Sheets to organize your takeoff, estimators work smarter, faster and with greater confidence to produce consistent, accurate, winning bids! With a detailed takeoff screen, every tool the estimator needs is clearly displayed for instant access. Perform takeoff
functions without having to open and close multiple
windows to perform a single task.
Most estimating programs are basic data entry systems designed to sort and filter information entered by the user. IntelliBid's exclusive Smart Systemô technology takes that same information and begins calculating and comparing data for accurate labor and material requirements. Built-in NEC tables that guard against costly Code violations and automatic adjustments to labor requirements based on changes to installation difficulty ensure that the bids you generate using IntelliBid are accurate and cost efficient.
IntelliBid's Smart Substitution feature eliminates the time-consuming tasks of changing materials in your estimate to suit scope changes, specification changes or value engineering. These tasks are typically required at the last minute before a bid is due, but with IntelliBid's Smart Technology, this task is done quickly and accurately. IntelliBid's built in NEC tables check, correct and update your bid in compliance with the NEC. With the high cost of copper, looking for alternate solutions to bring the project in on budget or to simply outsmart your competition is paramount to your success. IntelliBid will compare your copper feeder against an identical aluminum feeder and will automatically replace the conductors with the same ampacity, including upsizing the conduit, couplings, connectors and supportsÖall with the click of your mouse.
IntelliBidís unique ability to substitute a complete installation using the programís built-in NEC tables assures accurate, code compliant and precise material requirements with every substitution. Not just another find & replaceÖ
itís Smart Substitution!
Part of the estimating process involves counting and measuring material requirements from project drawings. Manual estimating uses paper takeoff sheets or spreadsheets to gather the counts and measurements. From there, estimators will use this information to build their bill of materials, which is very time consuming.
ConEst has incorporated this proven industry takeoff method into IntelliBid's Count Sheets where material quantities gathered using a scaling device or from automated methods such as SureCount or DraftLogic Electrical, are easily listed and ready for takeoff.
Add/Deduct Unit Pricing
Bid documents require that you provide unit prices for specific installations contained in your estimate. The owner wants these unit prices to be included in the contract and will use these prices for adding or deleting from the contract price when making changes during construction. With IntelliBidís Advanced Breakout feature, the estimator can easily identify individual items in their estimate to provide detailed reports of selling prices and real costs. Knowing that installations can vary in difficulty based on the project, the most important feature of Advanced Breakout is that it will calculate precise unit prices to reflect the real costs for that project.
- Generate precise add/deduct prices for your breakouts
- Control the add/deduct percentage per job
- Create a quick cost estimate of an installation for comparison analysis
The ItemVue and AssemblyVue features let you look at an item or assembly before selecting the item for takeoff. JobVue is a digital image viewer that gives the estimator the convenience of being able to view jobsite conditions within IntelliBid during takeoff.
