Announcing IntelliBid v5!
The anxiously awaited release of IntelliBid version 5 is here! If you don’t want to wait for your new CD, you can download the new release from our ConEst Online Customer Service Center at http://bbs.conest.com. Click on File Libraries and then IBIDV5.exe.

Here are just a few of the highlights you’ll find in IntelliBid version 5…
  • IntelliBid Lite now includes both the Job Cost Codes feature and the TRA-SER/EPIC/Expert Estimator Link feature. These features will automatically be activated in your program as soon as you install the v5 upgrade (your IntelliBid security key must also be programmed for v5…call 1-800-662-7687 x2, or reset your key online at http://bbs.conest.com). The Job Cost Codes feature lets you set up cost codes for your labor, material and equipment enabling you to compare your job budgets to your actual vendor costs. The pricing service links let you import material from your TRA-SER, EPIC or Expert Estimator price update disks directly into your IntelliBid database.

  • The dynamic, new Count Sheets feature will be automatically installed when IntelliBid Plus, Pro and Design Build customers install version 5! The new Count Sheets feature in IntelliBid emulate familiar green sheets used for manual takeoff. User definable columns on each Count Sheet let you set up your devices and fixtures by E-Drawing.



  • IntelliBid v5 uses the new Crystal Reports XI report design tool for the program’s built-in reporting system. ConEst will also be using Crystal XI for all custom report designs. Customers who have had us create custom reports prior to the release of version 5 will need to convert those reports to the new Crystal Reports XI format. As a service for our customers, we are offering to convert your existing IntelliBid custom reports to the new Crystal Reports XI format at no charge!   Email your custom reports to reports@conest.com, and we’ll take care of converting the files and return them to you, ready to use in your new IntelliBid v5 upgrade!

Don’t forget to reset your ConEst IntelliBid security key for version 5!

If you purchased your IntelliBid program prior to July 1, 2005, you will need to reset your security key in order to run version 5. You can reset your key at your convenience by logging on to our customer service center, 24/7, at http://bbs.conest.com, clicking on Web Resets, and following the onscreen instructions. You can also reset your key by calling our technical support department during normal business hours.
