Here at ConEst, we are always working on improvements to our suite of software products. Because of this, it is important that all customers keep their software up-to-date. The latest version of each ConEst program is available for download from our Online Service Center website 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

NOTE: Whenever a new release/update of the IntelliBid Estimating Software is made available, we send out a notification email to all IntelliBid customers. If you have not been receiving these notifications, it may be that we do not have the correct email address on file for you or your company. If this is the case, please contact our Sales department at 800-662-7687 x1 or email or so that we can update our records. To be notified for all new files, regardless if they’re a major release or not, see the Auto Notification of New Files section after the Downloading Files section below.

ConEst’s Online Service Center is located at If you have never downloaded files from this site in the past, or if it has been over a year since your last download, the first thing you will need to do is create an account. (If you already have a download account, including a username and password, please skip the next paragraph.)
To sign up for a download account, click the link that reads, “Sign up now.” This will take you to the signup page, where you will create your own username and password to access the download area. Fill in each field, and then click Signup. If you sign up during regular business hours (M-F 7:30am-6:00pm Eastern time), a ConEst technician will usually have your account set up within fifteen minutes. Otherwise, we will set up the account first thing the next business day.

To download your upgrades go to the Online Service Center at From the Main Menu select the “Downloads” option, enter your username and password, and click Login. You will now see the available libraries listed. Here is a brief overview of some of the libraries you may see (you may not see some of these libraries, depending on your account status):

If you need to download a full installation of any ConEst program, you will find it in the PRODUCTS library. This is recommended if you are installing on a new computer and do not have a current CD, or if it has been at least six months since you last upgraded your software.

If you have been downloading updates regularly, you can download the latest patch files to bring your software up-to-date. Patch files are located in the BIDTRAC, FORMULAS, INTELLIBID, JOBTRAC, and TMBILLING libraries. Simply download all patch files with dates more recent than your last visit to the website. (You may want to mark your calendar when you do your upgrades.)

If you need to install a new database, you will find it in one of the following libraries:

DATABASE-US: For American customers
DATABASE-AU: For Australian customers
DATABASE-CA: For Canadian customers
DATABASE-LV: For Voice-Data customers
DATABASE-TRAC: For users of BidTrac, JobTrac, Formulas, or T&M Billing Manager

NOTE: Be aware that installing a new database will overwrite your existing data.  Proceed with caution.

Once you have located the correct library, click the name of the file you want to download, and then click the white arrow below “Download Now.” You will be asked to Save the file, or to Run it. We recommend that you ‘Save’ your downloaded files to a convenient location on your hard drive, and then run them once the download is complete. (You may want to set up a folder for this purpose.) To run a downloaded file, double-click it, and then continue to click Next or Finish (answering Yes to all prompts) until the installation is complete.

If you have a particular library where you want to be notified automatically the instant that new files are uploaded, you can do so by either email or a text message directly to your phone.

To mark a library for notification simply click the library from the ‘Downloads’ section and before clicking any files, click the box at the top  labeled “Notify me when files are uploaded here”. We recommend that you do NOT select the “Notify me when files are downloaded here” or you will receive numerous non-essential notifications. Once you click the ‘notify’ box you should get a pop-up window confirming your request and a link to set-up your notifications. Either click that link or click ‘My notifications’ in the main menu and click ‘Notification settings’.

Enter your email address and/or SMS address. Instructions are provided onscreen. The SMS Address is the one you’ll use if you want to receive a text message about new files. If you scroll down you’ll see frequency and delivery options, as well as an option to disable all notifications. Be sure to click the ‘Update Delivery Settings’ button to ensure the changes made will be saved.
